Faith Kimpell

Remembering the Class of 2020

Faith was an absolute delight to photograph. She has such natural beauty and a great personality that it made it easy to photograph her.

Faith's session was incorporated in 3 different days. Her first session started at The Middle School at Parkside's swimming pool. Yes, faith is a diver! You could have imagine the excitement I had when she told me she wanted one of her sessions at a pool. As some of you may know, photographing athletes are one of my favorites because of the creative ability it has. Don't you love this image below of her on the diving board. This is definitely one of my favorite sports photo from her session.

Faith's next session incorporated gymnastics. Yes, Faith is an multi talented athlete. This session was located at Frost Elementary School. Photographing this was an absolute blast because this was when I was able to see how skilled Faith is with her gymnastics. I had her do jumps, twirls, balancing beam, and uneven bar moves. (I love putting my senior athletes through a workout. lol) Here are a few photos we created during that time. What do you think?

Faith's final session she wanted to integrate nature. This session was taken place in the fall so she wanted to have the beautiful colors of the trees around her. One thing that I loved about photographing Faith was, during all three of her sessions, the connection she has with her mom was undeniably amazing. During our viewing appointment, of course Faith mom's started to get teary eyed watching all of the images across her custom slideshow.

Furthermore, Faith thank you so much for trusting in me on creating a memorable experience and portraits of your senior year. I had an absolute blast with you and your mom during all of your session. I pray nothing but the best for you during this time. Just remember you have such a bright future and I know you will be successful in whatever you put your mind to.

Check out more from Faith's session below.
